The entire 14 th Legislative District is part of a new and better way to run political campaigns and put people ahead of the special interests. I am excited to be part of this vital reform called "Fair and Clean Elections."
Our district was selected by a bipartisan commission to change the way campaigns are funded. This historic reform takes away the power of the special interests and the political bosses and puts the power back where it belongs- with the hard working people of our area.
Besides changing the way campaigns are funded, it gives you a chance to stand up and be heard. Standing up for what is right has been the foundation of my public life. I'm ready to take on the tough fights in Trenton to stand up for you. And I need your help.

Standing up for what's right is nothing new to me. Whether it's preventing a giant utility merger that would have driven up rates and cost jobs or taking on utility and cable TV corporations to control their rates, I've never backed down from the toughest fights. I was a leader in pushing New Jersey to adopt cleaner, renewable energy sources and conserve water and electricity. I worked to help domestic abuse victims and to investigate Assisted Living facilities to improve conditions for seniors and the disabled.
I've stood up for the rights of all of us in New Jersey . I'm prepared to stand up for what's right for you in the state senate. It's up to you to stand up and vote.
